Toolset allows you to add custom post types, custom fields, and custom taxonomies to your site.

If you haven’t already done so, first install Toolset Types plugin (see how to install Toolset plugins).

Once Types is installed, go to Toolset -> Dashboard.

From here, you can set-up new custom post types, custom fields, and custom taxonomies. If your theme or other plugin comes with its own custom post types, Toolset will allow you to add fields and taxonomy to it, but not modify the settings of that custom type.

Once you’ve added your own custom types, fields and taxonomy, they will show up in the Toolset Dashboard, like this example:
