Layouts is a WordPress plugin that lets you design responsive layouts for entire pages, from the header down to the footer.
Layouts User Guides include detailed documentation on how Layouts editor works and how you can create Layouts and assign them to specific content, or as templates for all items of a post type.
When you ask for help or report issues, make sure to tell us the versions of the Toolset plugins that you have installed and activated.

Problem: When I try to see individual Author posts, a 404 error is shown.
Solution: The slug "author" is reserved in WordPress and should not be used as the slug for a custom post type. If you want to create an Authors custom post type, you must use a different slug. Then you can use Layouts to style the individual Author posts.
On the other hand, if you want to style the /author/ archives created automatically by WordPress, create an archive Layout or an archive Content Template and assign it to the author archive.
Solution:
Toolset allows you to call Custom Fields by the following criteria listed as given under:
- The current post being displayed either directly or in a View loop
- The parent of the current post (WordPress parent)
- The parent of this post, set by Types (parent/child relationship)
- A specific post ID
With WPbakery page builder when you use the post grid it creates it’s own loop in GRIDs. It’s the result of a 3rd party Query, and that cannot be considered yet in our ShortCodes.
