Problem: I'm wondering are woocommerce blocks and original views not compatible? Solution: It appears there was an issue with my Genesis child theme though it resolved itself simply by deactivating and reactivating it... Relevant Documentation: |

Query records that have children
Started by: Steve

Problem: I have two post types in a one-to-many post relationship. Artists are the parents, and Paintings are the children. In the Artists post type, I have a checkbox custom field. I would like to create a View of Artist posts that only shows Artists with related Paintings. I would also like to include any Artist where the checkbox is checked. Solution: To accomplish this without custom code, you need 3 Views: Insert View #2 in your template or page using a shortcode. In the ids attribute, place View #1 and View #3. [wpv-view name="view-2-slug" ids="[wpv-view name='view-1-slug'],[wpv-view name='view-3-slug']"] Relevant Documentation: |

select featured event in a view

Problem: Im trying to create a view that selects any event (theeventscalendar) that is featured- Is this possible somehow? Solution: It depends on the theeventscalendar plugin, how does theeventscalendar plugin store the "featured" value ? You can check it with the theeventscalendar plugin author If it is a custom field, you can follow our document to setup the custom field filter: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/custom-field-filter-setup/ If it is a hidden field, you can enable it to Views UI: Dashboard-> Toolset-> Settings-> Front-end Content-> Hidden custom fields, click button "Select custom fields" If it is a custom taxonomy, you can follow our document to setup the taxonomy filter: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/views/filtering-views-by-taxonomy/ Relevant Documentation: |
