I have a website that is still using the Toolset Layouts plugin and the Toolset Views plugin. I read both plugins will be deprecated in the future.

Replacing both old plugins buy the new Blocks plugin will probably not work.

Do I have to rebuild my page templates using the Toolset Blocks plugin?

I already tried to update the Toolset Layouts plugin and the Toolset Views plugin, but the update failed. Deleting the files and copying the files of the last verszion into the website also failed.

Hello,

Yes, you are right, Toolset Views + Layouts plugins are moved to "Legacy plugins", and they are in maintenance status.

If you don't need Blocks editor features in your old websites, you don't have to replace Toolset Views + Layouts plugins with Toolset Blocks plugin, you can still upgrade them by these:
1) Install the latest version of Toolset Types plugin manually, you can download it here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
2) Then upgrade other Toolset plugins automatically:
https://toolset.com/faq/how-to-install-and-register-toolset/#automatic-installation-once-you-have-types-plugin-installed

If you want to need Blocks editor features in your websites(new projects), then you can use Toolset Blocks plugin, and design your websites with Blocks editor + Toolset Blocks plugin, see our documents:
