Toolset Reference Sites are pre-built, fully working websites, which you can use as the starting point for client projects. You can download a reference site, customize it using Toolset, replace the sample content and deliver to your client. In our documentation pages, you can find instructions on how to install a reference site locally and customize it.

Problem:
How to set post expiration settings with CRED form
Solution:
When you edit your CRED form, You will see the section:
"Expiration date:" from where you can setup your post expiration settings.
If you do not want to expire the date - you should just uncheck the checkbox "Set expiration date for post created or edited by this form" and save your CRED form.
Problem:
I like features from both or more Reference Sites you offer.
How can I "merge" all 2 or more reference sites onto one, so to create a website with all those features?
Solution:
You cannot import a whole reference site to an existing reference site as it would overwrite the old one.
But, as an example you can create an Install of the Classifieds reference Site and then, another install of the Real Estate Site, and use the Module Manager Plugin, for example, you can take features from one site and add it to the other site.
That would need careful testing afterwards since the Classifieds and Real estate sites sometimes rely on customised add-on plugins or specific CRED forms and code that cannot be altered if it should work.
Problem:
A reference site cannot be installed with the Framework Installer.
Solution:
If the installation gets stuck during the install process it is a sign that the server settings for timeout and/or memory are inadequate and need increasing.
The issue here is that the user had a view filter that is currently being filtered by the URL parameter but wanted to re-use this same view and then filter it by a shortcode parameter with the same filter.
The issue here is that the customer was trying to install one of our reference sites but the installer kept timing out.
Solution:
This was an issue on our plugin but has since been resolved in the latest version. I would recommend performing an update by going to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial and then update the framework installer plugin to version 2.1.9.5
