Tell us what you are trying to do?
We are trying to use one of our custom fields, "age/grades" as a filter in a custom search, however even though it is available inside the edit post screen, it is missing as a filter option.
Is there any documentation that you are following?
No
Is there a similar example that we can see?
This works for all other custom fields except for this one.
What is the link to your site?

If it helps, this is the only custom filter that we've established as a multi-select. Thanks!
Hello,
How do you setup the "age/grades" field?
There isn't custom "multi-select" field within Toolset Types plugin, you might consider custom checkboxes field, it is also a "multi-select" option, see our document:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-custom-fields/
You can also setup a post view, and filter by the custom checkboxes field
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/filtering-views-by-custom-fields/
I am attaching some images that should help.
My custom fields was initialized as checkboxes - however, it is missing when I try to add as a filter:
In the photos, you can see how it is available when creating a new post, but missing in the filter options.
Thanks!
Max
I have tried it in my localhost with a fresh wordpress installation, it works fine, I can see the custom checkboxe "age/grades" field when I add the filter.
So the problem you mentioned above is abnormal, please check these:
1) Make sure you are using the latest version of Toolset plugins
2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2019, and test again
3) If the problem still persists, please provide database dump file(ZIP file) of your website, also point out the problem page URL and view URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks

Thank you for offering to help. I have tried turning off my plugins and theme, and I cannot see how to turn on this filter. Here is the link where you can download the duplicator file. I cannot upload it here since it is over 120MB.
Thanks - I can get all the other filters to work except for this one.

Thanks for the details, I assume we are talking about the view "Home Master Map", please try these:
Dashboard-> Toolset-> Custom fields
find and edit field group "K-12 Fields", Edit checkboxes field "Age/Grade", change the option from:
When unchecked, save 0 to the database
To:
When unchecked, don't save anything to the database
And test again.
