Problem: Solution: Those Custom Fields should be pre-populated. Then, update your cars with that information. After, create a View, add 2 Custom Filters by the Make and Model Field, and choose "Let me choose individual settings manually" in the "Custom Search Settings". Relevant Documentation: |

View results and search display twice
Started by: Eric De Paep
in: Toolset Professional Support
Problem: Solution: You can display Search form on one place and the results on another place on the same page. When you insert a Custom Search View into a page, it will give you option to separate form filters and results, and it will provide you with shortcode and instructions on how to add them separately, please follow the instructions given on screen. Solution here: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/display-only-the-search-box-but-the-results-in-another-place-on-the-same-page/ Relevant Documentation: |

Pass CPT field value to a CRED form on another page
Started by: Eric De Paep
in: Toolset Professional Support
Problem: I would like to know how to pass values into a CRED form on another page, or on the current page. Solution: Use the "urlparam" attribute on any CRED field to set the value of that field using a URL parameter: [cred_field field='contact-car' post='contact-form' urlparam='contactcarparam' class='form-control' output='bootstrap'] In your link to the other page, add the url parameter after the listing ID parameter the end of the URL: <a class="btn btn-lg btn-primary single-contact-button" href="[wpv-bloginfo show='url']/contact/?listing-id=[wpv-post-id]&contactcarparam=[wpv-post-field name='wpcf-ownersvehicle_id']">Contact Us</a> If you want to set the value of a field on the current page, use the [wpv-post-field] shortcode to access the raw field value: [cred_field field='contact-car' post='contact-form' class='form-control' value='[wpv-post-field name='wpcf-ownersvehicle_id' id='$current_page']' output='bootstrap'] Relevant Documentation: |
