** Tell us what you are trying to do? **
I am trying to create a post type of our loan officers, but it is forcing single.php. I need it to use the page.php so we can avoid the title, header options, etc for single.php. Here's what is is created- hidden link.

I eventually want to get close to this hidden link with your block editor, but it keeps forcing the blog post template at the top.

I must be missing something. I've watched the videos and searched in your support docs, but can't figure it out.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

It is WordPress default behavior that it uses the theme's 'single.php' file for showing the single post pages.

You can read more about the WordPress template hierarchy from here:
hidden link

Toolset allows you to create a fully customized content template for your individual post types, without having to make changes to the files in the theme.

You can use the 'Create Content Template' button shown in your screenshot. The details documentation on the content templates is available at:
https://toolset.com/lesson-placement/lesson-placements-1621067-1621091/

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need further assistance.

regards,
Waqar
