Hey guys,

I'm trying to translate a field group from a post type. To do that, I went to WPML > settings > Multilingual Content Setup > Post Types then I selected "Translatable —use translation if available or fallback to default language" option for the post type that the field group is assigned to (please see screenshot 1).

Then I went to the WPML > settings > Multilingual Content Setup > Custom Fields Translation and selected "translate" for each field of the group (screenshot 2)

After setting up WPML, the field group doesn't appear for translation (please see screenshot 3). Could you help me with that?

This is the documentation I've read:
https://toolset.com/documentation/translating-sites-built-with-toolset/translating-repeatable-field-groups/

Thank you!

Hello,

I assume we are talking about this case:
1) A custom post type "Boats"
2) A custom Repeatable Field Groups, for example, "Boats-RFG", with below custom fields:
- boat engine
- boat year
...

And you are using below WPML settings:
Dashboard-> WPML-> Settings-> Multilingual Content Setup: Use WPML's Classic Translation Editor

I have tried it in my localhost with a fresh wordpress installation + the latest version of Toolset plugins + WPML plugins, same settings as your screenshots 1 & 2, it works fine:
Dashboard-> WPML-> Translations, find the specific "Boats" post, click "Translate" button, I can see those custom fields here, see screenshot Translate.JPG

Please check these in your website:
1) Make sure you are using the latest version of WPML plugins + Toolset plugins, you can download Toolset plugins here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2019, deactivate all custom PHP/JS code snippets, and test again

3) Also check if there is any PHP/JS error in your website:
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/

4) If the problem still persists, please provide database dump file(ZIP file) of your website, also point out the problem page URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks
