In researching warnings prompted by AHREFS, I have often come across this file (or something similar) hidden link which seems to be adding a significant of time the the page load.

Google seems to think that it can be consolidated and optimised.

The comments at the top of it seem to suggest this is the case also.

Can this file be removed or consolidated?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

To remove the unwanted CSS script, can you please try to add the following code to your current theme's functions.php file:

 add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'func_remove_unwanted_style_and_js', 20 );
 function func_remove_unwanted_style_and_js() {
    wp_dequeue_style( 'toolset-common-es' );
    wp_deregister_style( 'toolset-common-es' );
}
