I am trying to: add captions to my toolset gallery and they don't display after I added them to each image in the media section

I expected to see: all of the gallery images have captions but they are not displaying on the page

Instead, I got: only some random captions display, but not all of them

Hi there

It's hard to say what the issue is just by looking at the gallery output on the front end.

Would it be possible to get access to the site to check the set up and the details of what's in the media library?

Let me mark your next reply as private so that we can get log-in credentials from you—you may want to create a temporary admin user for us to use that you can later delete. And be sure to have a current backup of your site.

Thank you for sharing the access details.

I noticed that in the back-end page edit screen, all the image captions are showing.

However, on the front end, most of them are missing the caption text.

I couldn't reproduce this behavior on my test website, so looks like something specific to your website or server is involved.

Can you please test this after clearing all involved caches? It would also be interesting to test this with all non-Toolset plugins disabled and with a default theme like Twenty Twenty-One.

If it's fixed, you can start adding the disabled items, one by one, to narrow down to a possible conflicting one.

If all else fails, I'll need your permission to download the website's clone and test it on a different server.
