When exporting a CSV of the the custom post type, I have 23 records where this field, _wpcf_belongs_artist_id, isn't being populated. I've double checked and on the back-end and front-end of the site, I can see that each of these 23 artworks are connected to an artist, but yet the field _wpcf_belongs_artist_id is blank when exporting CSV.

I've disconnected, updated the post. Re-added the connection from both ends and re-saved. Nothing seems to work on getting the field updated.

Can you please request login credentials and take a look at this.

You are using the old way to connect the post and that is actually outdated.

May I know what is the current version of Toolset plugins you are using? Have you already migrated to new post relationship?

Actually, We publish the Types 3.0 with the new many to many relationships and we have added the number of new features to this major release and that is before almost seven-eight years a go.

As I understand you want to query the related posts from the database, if that's correct.

Well - _wpcf_belongs_artist_id method was used before Toolset Types version 3.0 that is almost seven-eight years ago.

With Toolset Types version 3.0 we publish a new post relationshp. You can check the blog post here:

So, for instance, if you have One (Lesson Plans)-parent and many (Art)-child having said that you have one-to-many post relationship between post type (Lesson Plans)-one and (Art)-many.

Now, you want to query all related child posts belongs to single parent (Lesson Plans) post, then you can use the post relationship API function: toolset_get_related_posts ()

Is there no way to EXPORT the relationships to a CSV file? There's no meta_data field that could be exported?

You can export the post data from the standard WordPress export tool available at:
=> Tools => Export

The related post details are included automatically with this export. This file format is a type of XML though, not CSV. You would need some conversion process to convert that file from XML to CVS automatically.

Another way is you can use "WP All Export Pro:

I am using WP All Export Pro but what column/data element will I see this relationship in?
