Hello,

I assume you are using Blocks editor(Gutenberg) to edit the Toolset content template.

To display the custom search form and search result in different places of content template, you can try these:
1) Make sure there is an existed post view in your website, which has custom search form and search result
2) Edit your content template with Blocks editor, add a Toolset View block:
Find and select the view block, there is a section "Custom Search Settings", here you can choose options:
Only the search form
Only the search results

See my screenshot Custom-Search-Settings.JPG

thx, Mr Luo Yang.

I have some question.

I saw that toolset give us "DEMO Template".

Travel, Gym.... etc

So can I use this theme for my job?

I reconized that

It would be easier to do customizing by imitating the DEMO template you give.

thx

As I mentioned above:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/i-dont-know-where-can-i-find-toolset-view-code/#post-1775233

1) Make sure there is an existed post view in your website, which has custom search form and search result

You can provide a test site with the same problem, fill the website credentials in below private message box, also point out the problem page URLs, I can setup a demo for you

#1775315

I have tried the credentials you provided above, it is not valid, I get these error message:
Error: The password you entered for the username godpjh011 is incorrect

Please check it, thanks

#1775317

We can handle questions one by one.

For the original question of this thread:
I got the answer but I can't find my "view code" and how to use short-code in my template.

I have setup done below modifications in your website:
1) Create a post view "View with custom search form" with custom search form:
hidden link

2) Create a post display a two view blocks:
hidden link
The first one is using option "Only the search form",
The second one is using option "Only the search results"
Test it in front-end, it works fine
hidden link

3) Since you are going to design your website with "Elementor" page builder, so I have created another post to show you how to get the view's shortcode:
hidden link
You can add a "Fields and Text" block, click button "Add Field or View" button, see screenshot Add-Field-or-View.JPG, find and click the post view of step1, then you will be able to display search form and search result with different shortcodes, see screenshot search-settings.JPG
[wpv-form-view name="view-with-custom-search-form" target_id="self"]
[wpv-view name="view-with-custom-search-form" view_display="layout"]

And you can use those shortcodes in other page builders ("Elementor" )

According to our support policy, we prefer one question one ticket, please confirm the first question, then we can move to other new questions. thanks

thx for helping me.

But toolset is nor working.

I attached screenshot.

I cant use toolset to making new page because of error-message.

Your website is abnormal, it does not display page content at all.

For example, you can create a page, in the page content, add a paragraph, with text 12345
hidden link

test it in front-end, it does not display content 12345 at all:
hidden link

I suggest you try these:
Deactivate all other plugins. switch to WordPress default theme 2020, and test again, if the problem is fixed, then activate other plugin/theme one by one, try to locate the problem pluagin/theme

Before I said,

setting template width is abnormal....

Would you see screenshot1 ?

In this pic, you can see the page what you setting.

and in screenshot2,

I'm selecting "Elementor full width" and push save&update button.

In screenshot3, my front-end page, we can see content.

after push a F5 key,

template is back to "DEFUALT TEMPLATE", not "Elementor full width"....

I have been having this problem since using Toolset with elementor.

In the case of using only Elementor, this issue didn't happen.

What should I do...??

thx for helping me

nice hansome guy!

#1775599

Please edit the test page:
hidden link
In section "Page Attributes", option "Template:", there isn't any option "Elementor full width", can you confirm it?
And it might be a problem of your custom template "Elementor full width", I suggest you try the default template.

And I have copied the test post content into the test page content, test it in front-end:
hidden link
Both the search form and search results are working fine, can you confirm it? Thanks, nice & handsome guy!

Thx~! Mr. Luo Yang.

I did check the "Custom search&result".

It is work well.

and I did try making page with only Toolset,

no elementor.

But the same situation.

Please check my screenshot.

I think that this issue come from my customizing template...(?)

so I will try "DEMO template" what Toolset give us.

Can I customizing these template for my job?

I will change all of image and content except for form.

#1775655

q1) It seems to be a problem of your custom theme file

Q2) Can I customizing these template for my job?
There is a misunderstandings, Toolset does not provide theme files(template), withing Toolset, there is only Toolset Content template.

As I suggest above you can try these:
1) Use the default template.
2) Follow our document to design the single post of custom post type with Toolset content template:
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-templates-to-display-custom-posts/
For normal page, design the page content with Blocks editor from scratch, I don't think it needs to install the Toolset "DEMO template".

#1775663

thx for helping me.

There seems to be a misunderstanding of what I said "Toolset template".

"Toolset template", I mean, was talking about "DEMO Template" on YouTube.

hidden link

This woman used the reference "DEMO Template : Travel" in the TOOLSET menu "Reference Site", and I know how to install it.

The reason why I want to use "DEMO Template : Travel" is because "DEMO Template : Travel" is very similar to the type of homepage I want to make.

Is it possible that using "DEMO Template : Travel" for my customizing homepage?

Thank you very much for the link.
