Hi there,

I am following up on an old ticket:

https://toolset.com/forums/topic/multiple-recepients-to-woocommerce-emails/

This ticket is regarding sending the host an email when someone buys a spot on his/her camp. So what you guys told me is that the data is there but it need some custom coding to set up the part where the host-email is being pulled so he/she gets an email. Now i had 3 different developers looking at it and they say this, which is really troubling me:

"We have now tried to push the custom field made with with ToolSet.

These ToolSet are attached to woocommerce product, and when we try to pass them though in a mail notification the Fields doesn’t exists. There has been done tries with array's and Forach, but the fields doesn’t pass. So we inspected the matters, and realized that the fields aren’t attached to the products when send with the woocommerce mail system, there for it cant be done with at notification to the individual contact person."

And I just feel like it is a bit unfair when you guys say that the data is there and that this can certainly be done, if i just get a developer to help me.

Can we please find a solution for this? It is very important for my clients concept. I don't care how we do this, I just need it done.

Thanks.

Hi Mai,

Sorry to learn that the developers were not able to help you with a solution.

I'll need to perform some further tests on my website over the weekend, in order to share some more pointers.

I'll keep you updated through this ticket.

regards,
Waqar

Hi Mai,

Did you get a chance to discuss with your developer(s) the summary that I shared in the other ticket?
( ref: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/follow-up-on-ticket-regarding-list-for-the-host/#post-1993373 )

For someone who is familiar with PHP, WooCommerce, and Toolset, this ticket's requirement shouldn't be difficult, once the current setup is clearly communicated.

Please make sure to also share the following background discussions:

Hi Waqar,

I was waiting for you to do the tests as the email for the host and the list function are 2 different assignments as I see it. Did you run the tests?

I have trouble accessing my tickets right now so I added answers in the other ticket.

The email for the hosts and the list function are basically the 2 things we miss to be completely done.

Also, as I mentioned in the other ticket, i was wondering if you could check what I did wrong when I added the title in the test template that pulls the extra data to the email. I just added a title but now all the data is gone.

Hi Mai,

Since you've added the summary of both the remaining items in the other ticket, I can follow up through that same ticket.

You can mark this ticket as resolved.
