Create separate Taxonomy term pages for different CPT's

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Hello,

Taxonomy term "Tags" is connected to both standard posts and CPT Products.
Currently when the tag is clicked from either Posts or Products it shows the term page of both.
How do I separate them, if a user visits a product page and clicks on a tag, I would like it to show only products.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

This is the standard behavior of WordPress Archives. They show all attached posts/pages, irrespective of the post type they belong to.

If you'd like to show different list of posts and products on the terms archives, it would be better to use two separate taxonomies. For example, you can keep using 'Tags' for Posts and register a new custom taxonomy 'Product Tags', for the Products.
