Based on your report, I've performed some tests on my test website and yours too, but couldn't reproduce the issue.
For the match post 'Rome Coca-Cola vs. Volley Llamas', I've set all these fields from '0' to empty:
Team 1 Score - Women's Doubles
Team 2 Score - Women's Doubles
Team 1 Score - Mixed Doubles B
Team 2 Score - Mixed Doubles B
Team 1 Score - Mixed Doubles A
Team 2 Score - Mixed Doubles A
Yet, the single post page still shows without any white screen.
Have you made any other changes recently and can you still reproduce the white screen?
Yikes. This situation is determined to drive me to insanity. That is SO BIZARRE. I didn't do anything to fix it. I've spent HOURS on this trying to figure this out and never could determine the cause for what i was seeing. I don't know if Minesh did anything else on this prior to his vacation or not.
If it's working now, then we're good. I can see that the score fields on that match are all empty, and the white screen isn't happening now. I wish you could have seen it to hopefully find the cause just so I'd know.
But I may need to resurrect this ticket later if the problem comes back.
Wait a minute, I did make the change to fix the issue to stop the points column from displaying on any matches where Men's, Women's, Mixed A and Mixed B games are not played. The only column that must display on those matches is the Team Maker column, as you see it on the match I'm having you test on. Maybe the white screen had something to do with that. I made that calculation field a conditional display that forces the match to have a score in the Men's Team 1 field in order to display on the advice of Nigel in another ticket. So maybe the calculation field trying to display when there were no scores for the fields it uses for the calculation is what caused the white screen. It still wouldn't make sense to me that it worked fine when the Men's score was blank, but not when the Women's, MIxed A or Mixed B scores were blank. I didn't have any conditional based on the Men's field prior to Nigel's suggested fix that worked. But I'm now thinking that fixing that issue also fixed the white screen problem. Now that the calculation field isn't trying to display on these Team Maker only matches, the white screen matter has stopped.
At least that's what I'm going to tell myself to put my mind more at ease about this highly frustrating and confusing issue. 😉
