Let me check with the team, I thought they would appear in your profile but I see that is not the case. I'll let you know what I find out.
Any update for WooCommerce membership project
Nothing to report yet. Our blog is the best source of information about upcoming releases, so if you're subscribed there you will get the most current info.
I checked the chat queue and it appears you started this chat: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/use-toolset-for-selling-our-services/
However, I cannot see a transcript of the discussion. Did you chat with a service representative, or was this ticket closed without a chat session?
Hi Christian,
You are right that is my chat subject and indeed I chat with a service representative so that is why I asked about my chat history.
If it's going to help the following it was my main topic:
"We would like to use Toolset for selling our services like logo and web site design so how we can setup Toolset for any client to request for our services and pay with papyal also how to setup a dashboard for the client with payment receipt and profile management With Thanks"
Thank you,
I'm still investigating the chat history. In our system there is a way for a supporter to save a transcript of the chat immediately after resolution. However in this case, the transcript does not appear to have been saved successfully. I'm raising the concern with the forum system administrators to see if we can track down the transcript, but it's possible there was a bug in the software and the chat history has been lost. I'll let you know what I find out.
Hi there,
Thank you for waiting and I'll be following up on this ticket.
I remember the chat you and I had on 6th December. Unfortunately, its transcript was neither saved with the thread nor emailed to you, due to a technical issue.
We apologize for the inconvenience and investigation are already underway so that a situation like this can be avoided in the future.
Meanwhile, I'll be happy to share the points that we discussed that day:
1. To sell digital or physical products through the website, you'll need a dedicated eCommerce plugin, like "WooCommerce".
2. WooCommerce ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/ ) is the most popular choice among WordPress users and is fully compatible with our Toolset plugins.
3. We have a detailed guide on using them together at:
https://toolset.com/learn/create-an-ecommerce-wordpress-site/
4. You'll also find an example of an eCommerce website in our "Discover-WP" section:
https://discover-wp.com/site-types/woocommerce-and-toolset-demo/
5. To deploy membership sections like accounts, registration and login pages, Toolset plugins can be used as demonstrated at our reference website:
https://discover-wp.com/site-types/membership-layouts/
I hope these points will help and appreciate you brought this issue forward.
For any new question or concern, you're welcome to open a new chat or support ticket - we're here to help!
regards,
Waqar
Dear Waqar,
Good that you remembered our conversation and thanks for the clarification,if you remember I also asked you about the modules addition especially for frontend user profile membership site.
more info here:
https://toolset.com/2018/09/how-toolsets-new-modules-will-make-it-easier-for-you-to-add-important-features-to-websites/
Thanks,
Thanks for writing back,
The modules are strictly a collection of Toolset plugin elements (e.g. Views, Content templates, Layouts etc), which can be easily moved from one website from another.
Since Toolset plugins are dependant on a third-party plugin like WooCommerce for membership profile/account management features ( https://discover-wp.com/site-types/membership-layouts/ ), this is not available as a module.
I hope this clarifies the difference.
regards,
Waqar
My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
