I am trying to: create a new Layout for a Woocommerce Edit Product form

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: not live as I cannot Save It!

I expected to see: the "Save and close this form and return to Layout" button so I could click it and save the new form

Instead, I got: The Save button is missing, I think

Hi
I followed the Instructions here:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/cred-training-course/part-5-building-forms-content-editing/

Got stuck at Step 10. Click Save to save your layout - I cannot see the button to Save the Layout on the pop up form. See attached screen shots.

Can someone please make a short (2018) instructional video going through the process of:
1. Creating an new layout for a Woocommerce Edit Product form
2. Linking the Edit Form to the WooCommerce single product template, for logged in (Access approved) users

Basically, a video detailing the workflow for the instructions/tutorial found on the above URL.

Thank You

Hello,

Q1) The Save button is missing

The problem is abnormal, it seems to be a CSS conflict in your website, please try these:
1) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2017, and test again

2) If the problem still persists, please provide database dump file(ZIP file) of your website, also point out the problem page URL and view URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks

Q2) Can someone please make a short (2018) instructional video going through the process of...

Unfortunately, The Woocommerce product posts is a very complicated post type, there are lots of settings is not compatible with Toolset form plugin, you can only use Tooslet form to edit/create a very simple product with few fields, for example:
- Product title
- Product Content
- Product Excerpt
...

You can get these fields by this:
create a post for creating product post, in section "Content", click button "Auto-Generate Form", you will be able to see all available fields.

And the process is same as other post form, you can get the document here:

I think its a bug cause I tried again in Firefox and after zooming out in the browser view and some resizing of the browser then the save button appeared! see attachments... but its appearance is kind of random.

Perhaps it is because the pop up window size is the full browser height and sometimes I cannot scroll to the bottom of the pop up window.... so resizing and zooming out and then opening the developer tools in firefox... it then mysteriously appeared.

I think it definitely has something to do with the height of the pop up window that opens to generate the form and the sometimes limited use of the associated scroll bar to get to the bottom of the pop up window... where the SAVE BUTTON is located.

For the "Save button" problem, I have checked the zip file you provided above, there is only a file toolset-data-dump-txt.txt in it, which is not a valid database dump file, please check it.

And in most CSS issue, you can also try this:
1) Backup your website
2) provide a live website credentials,

I just need a live problem website to test and debug in my Chrome browser,

Hi

I am now looking for a different WooCommerce frontend solution for updating/editing and creating Products.

I tried editing pages built with Elementor on the site today but I could not! The Edit with Elementor function was not available/working for all my pages. I needed to rollback to a previous backup before I activated Toolset Layouts/Forms!

Thanks for your assistance but Toolset Layouts/Forms is too buggy atm for use on our production web site.

There is a thread about it here: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/plugin-conflict-3/

Quote:
“If we cannot use Toolset without having problems when we use Elementor, Visual Composer, etc., then please let me know now, then we have to stop working with Toolset.
Layouts is just one component of the Toolset plugin suite, and we do not recommend using Layouts with Elementor or Visual Composer or Beaver Builder, or any other page builder system. You must deactivate the Layouts plugin if you intend to use other page builders….”

Note: We will continue to use Toolset Types but that’s about it for now.

Maybe you guys can make a Layouts/Forms (CRED) plugin/WIDGET for Elementor?

For the new question:
Maybe you guys can make a Layouts/Forms (CRED) plugin/WIDGET for Elementor?

There isn't such a built-in feature within Toolset plugins, if you agree, we can take it as a feature request, our developers will evaluate it.

And there is a document about: Using Toolset with Elementor Page Builder
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-toolset-with-elementor-page-builder/

For your reference.

Hi.

Happy to make suggestions.

Most of the action with Elementor recently has been around WooCommerce integration with the release of Elementor Pro 2.1... and building a Single Product template works well using Woo Product Custom Fields that I added using Toolset Types.

However, the Woo Product Archive (Shop) has limited customisation available using Elementor... It would be great to be able to Utilise Toolset for this purpose eg: Ability to make custom views on the Woo Shop Page for:

1. the Grid View template and
2. the List View template

where we can add various dynamic Woo Product fields to these two standard Woo Shop views... and all editable within Elementor using a Toolset Widget.
eg: Grid View can have: Featured Photo, Product Name and Price... and List View can have Featured Photo, Product Name, Price, Description (limited length preview...) as well extra Woo Product custom fields added to accomodate for the extra space available...

That would be awesome!

Please consider this feature request ?
