Cannot access custom post type fields in wordpress rest API

This support ticket is created 7 years ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Instead, I got: nothing

Is there no support for this today?

I sorry to say that we currently do not provide any support for the REST API.

We know there is some demand from our users to add support and we intend to at some point, but our current focus is on other priorities and it is unlikely to be added anytime soon.

I'm sorry I don't have better news.
