Views is a WordPress plugin that lets you easily customize the standard WordPress listing pages using WordPress archives. You can redesign any WordPress archive, including custom post archives, taxonomy archives, author archives and search results.

Problem:
Can I edit the entire template of a WordPress Archive created with Toolset, using Beaver Builder?
Solution:
You can edit the Content Template applied to the single items in the resulting Archive loop (results, posts seen on the front end in that ardhive).
You cannot edit the entire template inclusive search, sidebar, footer or headers
Problem: I would like to use the wpv-post-taxonomy shortcode to output only the top-level term associated with a post.
Solution: The wpv-post-taxonomy shortcode isn't filterable like this, so you would have to use a View of taxonomy terms, set by the current post, where the parent term is "None".
Problem:
The standard blog archive is blank whenever Views is active.
Solution:
The user had begun to create a custom WordPress archive for the blog using Views but didn't complete it, and the custom archive output nothing.
Either delete the unused custom archive, or complete it, adding the required fields to the output section.
Problem:
A taxonomy archive includes a custom search filter for the same taxonomy, but it doesn't work.
Solution:
A taxonomy archive includes the term to display posts for in the URL (e.g. site.com/colour/red), and the main query on the page includes that term.
It is not possible to filter that main query and use a different term.
For this you would need to create a View with taxonomy filter and insert it onto a static page instead.
