Toolset plugins offer a built-in import/export functionality, which allows you to transfer what you have built from one website to another.
In our documentation pages, you can also find information on how to import content of an entire site into WordPress.
When you ask for help or report issues, make sure to give us some information about the data that you import/export.

I want to create my content with Toolset and let my clients or users download it with a Button.
Toolset should provide such a button where I can choose what the users will be able to download with
Solution
This is not possible with Toolset and it has been denied as a feature request in past already.
This is not the scope of Toolset or WordPress, and hence it is out of the scope of implementation.
To export Custom Type Data (Posts, Fields) you can use the WordPress exporter, it's a native WordPress plugin that you can install thru the "Tools > Import/Export" tab in WordPress Dashboard.
But this is not for the Front End, it's in the backend only.
You could, theoretically, use Custom Code to the Views results, then print them in your desired format and present a download link to the user.
But this all needs to happen on the server, with Custom Code.
The Views Results you could get by using the Views API
Toolset Plugins and/or it’s Exported Modules, or components, are recognized as Virus by my browser or OS or Server.
What can I do?
Solution
Toolset does not contain viruses if downloaded from our Download Page, and when you try to download an export made with Toolset, you just need to confirm the place to store it in on your browser.
In case the website or server is compromised, this cannot surge from a downloaded copy of Toolset.
if you experience such issues, please contact us and:
- tell us if there are there any specific steps that we can follow on a fresh install to see the issue?
- Could you try with a fresh set of Toolset Plugin copies?
- Could you ask your Server Admin about details relate to the issue? They will usualyl know or see more about eventual hacks or viruses.
I'm creating my site in a subdomain under test.
I have associated that domain with toolset.
I create a backup of my site with duplicator.
then i have update wpml but i have a big issue and my site was a white page.
I tried to resolve via ftp by deleting the wpml folders but I did not solve it. So I deleted all the files and I imported my backup with duplicator.
Now my site is online, everything works correctly again and I do not see the wpml update notifications that caused me to crash before.
But i have a toolset issues of my licence.
The domain is the same!
the notify of issue in backend:
"Remember to register Toolset. Registration gives you automatic updates for stability, performance and security."
If i click on "register toolset" i see the commercial page of plugin but i cannot insert my code.
Problem:
When importing posts from a CSV file using an import plugin the default Template Layout doesn't get assigned, and setting it manually for each of the imported posts would be too time-consuming.
Solution:
If you view the list of templates at Toolset > Layouts where there are posts which do not use the template assigned to that post type there appears a small orange link to bind posts. Pressing that will assign the Template Layout to all the posts in bulk.
