Problem:
I am trying to display Repeatable Field Groups inside a content template, following the guide at https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-and-displaying-repeatable-field-groups/
The problem is that this third step (https://toolset.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/repeatable-field-group-view-creation-wizard-1.png) doesn't show up. I have created a repeatabale field group called "Accesorios Repeatable Group for AUTOCLAVE", but I don't see any checkbox where I can select it.
What am I doing wrong?
Solution:
I believe the issue is similar to the one here: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/i-cant-see-the-repeatable-group-items-when-i-try-to-create-a-new-view/
I took the initiative to address the problem by recreating the content template, unassigning the Custom Post Type (CPT) Autoclaves from the previous content template, and assigning it to the new one. As a result, the repeatable groups are now visible within the new blocks.
The old content template is still available and unchaged under the name of 'Plantilla para Autoclaves Old' in case we need to return or consult it.
I also explored an alternative workaround by switching to the legacy view and creating a new view from there as available in the thread above. This view can be added back to your single post content template using a view block, "Fields and Text" block, or shortcodes block. You can find instructions on how to enable the legacy mode of the view in the following documentation: https://toolset.com/course-lesson/enabling-legacy-version-of-toolset-views/.
However, considering that the new content template is showing the repeatable groups correctly, with a slightly different layout, it might be preferable to proceed with this solution. I can assist you in making the necessary adjustments to align the layout with your requirements. If you prefer to explore the other option, you can switch back to the old content template and try the alternative workaround using the legacy view.
To summarize, I've taken steps to resolve the repeatable group visibility issue by recreating the content template and making some adjustments. If the new template meets your needs, we can work together on any required layout modifications. If you have any questions or would like to pursue the alternative workaround, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm here to support you throughout this process.
