[Resolved] WP bakery not functioning correctly in Toolset Views

This support ticket is created 4 years, 11 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to use WP bakery to edit a content template in a Toolset view and to edit text blocks and design options in Toolset using WP bakery.

I am able to access WP bakery within a content template but I cannot edit any of the settings or design option within an element.

None of the dropdowns in the design options function at all.

I have tried disabling all other plugins. I have also disabled the Gutenberg editor in WP bakery (as I read in another thread).

To better understand which design options are you referring to, I'll need to see the exact template edit screen on your website.

Can you please share temporary admin login details along with the link to the page where these options can be seen?

I'll be in a better position to guide you accordingly.

Thank you for sharing the admin access and link to the content template.

I noticed script error showing in the browser's console when viewing this content template, which would explain why the editor is not working.

Also, the active theme and a number of plugins (including the Toolset ones), haven't been updated to their latest version.

To troubleshoot this further, I'll suggest the following steps:

1. Please make sure that WordPress, active theme and plugins are all updated to the latest versions.

2. It would be interesting to test this with all extra plugins (other than the WPBakery Page Builder and Toolset) disabled and a default theme like Twenty Twenty.

If it's fixed, you can start adding the disabled items, one-by-one, to narrow down to a possible conflicting one.

3. In case the issue still persists, I'll need a clone/snapshot of your website so that it can be investigated on a different server, without affecting your actual website.

I have tried updating everything and disabling all plugins, and it seems that UpSolution Core is causing the problem. However, this is an essential plugin and the problem only happens within Toolset and nowhere else on the site.

Hi, I have installed the duplicator plugin and tried to use it, but I believe our site is too large, I keep getting this error when I try to 'build':

Build Status
Host Build Interrupt
This server cannot complete the build due to host setup constraints.
To get past this hosts limitation consider the options below by clicking each section.

I have tried a couple of the workarounds that the plugin gives but they don't seem to work either.

Do you have any suggestions to solve this? or a way that you can troubleshoot without me needing to clone the site?

Hi,

I see "All-in-One WP Migration" and "Duplicator" both are installed on your website.

Do I have your permission to try to download clone directly through these plugins, my self?

Also, the website clone/snapshots are not re-used in any way and are deleted as soon as the troubleshooting is over.

Note: The clone/snapshot doesn't have to be from your actual production website either. You can share it from any test website, where the issue can be seen.
