Tell us what you are trying to do?
I would like to build a bilingual site translated with WPML where Romanian is the default language (and is most visited) and I would like to know what is the best setup from the speed and less requests point of view. I thought some options below but please advice me any other that is better, thanks:
1. build the custom fields and all the forms and views/custom templates in romanian (i understand that wpml has this option to select the romanian as a original string language) and translate them into english . Would then the loading time of the romanian page will be faster? or it take also server resources to see that are romanian strings and it take the same resources like translating from romanian-romanian
2. build the custom fields and everything in english and then translate them into romanian (the traditional way)
Theoreticly the first should be better, but does it make a difference in speed and number of request / server load? What is your recommendation?
