I have created a new post grid (view) using the new Toolset Blocks editor, but for some reason, there is no output to the front-end of the website when published. I have tried both the latest production and beta releases of Blocks, but same result. Also checked to make sure (several times) that I wasn't viewing a cached or autosave version, but that was not the issue.

I have attached screenshots of both the front-end and back-end result.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

~Ryan

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Unfortunately, I am not able to access the admin, it looks like as you are using the Wordfence Security plugin, there is restrictions on specific countries.

You can please disable the IP based or country-based restrictions so I can able to login to admin.

In addition to that, can you please share the link of the problem URL where I can see the issue as well as the link of the admin page where you added the blocks.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Hi Minesh,

Sorry for the trouble. The IP block has been disabled. The page in question is the HOMEPAGE page. hidden link.

Ok I checked your home page and I can see you added the post view there and block view is set to display the content from the default post type post.

I would like to know, you want to display all posts belongs to default post type posts?

#1608207

Ideally, I am trying to display a slider that shows three POSTS at a time, ordered by date. Those three posts that are showing would be in a three-column grid. So the first slide would show posts 1-3, second slide 4-6, third slide 7-9, etc.

Thanks for the help.

we just added the slider block with our Block view version 1.2-beta.
=> https://toolset.com/2020/04/toolset-blocks-1-2-beta/

We suppose to release the stable release for Block View 1.2 or classic view this week. Would you mind to try the block or view's beta and try to play with slider block:

#1610835

As mentioned in my original post, I'm already using the v1.2 beta. And as far as I can tell, the new slider feature only works with images, and not posts as I would need. Either way, why does the view that is showing in the editor not show up at all on the front end? Why does it only output an empty wp-view-output DIV?

Yes - you are right, even I've try to create another test view using blocks on your install and its not showing on the frontpage.

I can see you are using number of third-party plugins and it seems for now that there could be a compatibility issue. Would you mind running a simple test first:

In order to minimize the cause of the issue:
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes? - Do you see any difference?

#1613249

Hi Minesh,

I tested the website will ALL plugins disabled (except for TYPES and BLOCKS), and also reverted back to the default Twenty-Twenty theme, but the problem still persists. I also updated to the new BLOCKS v1.2 that was released today, but that did not fix the issue either.

Please feel free to disable plugins and test on the default theme as well if you would like to see this for yourself. Very confused by this problem...

Thanks.

This is really strange issue as I see no other user has reported such issue or even I do not able to reproduce the issue on my local test install. This issue looks like unique to your setup or on your server.

What if you try to install the side on different servers and check if you able to reproduce the issue. If you see working there could be some issue with your server.

As I do not have FTP access details:
- Could you please activate WP_DEBUG from wp-config.php file and send me possible errors for review.
- What if you activate the error log and see if you see anything with your error logs and send me for the review:
=> https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/#php-debugging
Or
You can send me FTP access details.

Hi Minesh,

Here are the only two recent issues I'm seeing after enabling debug mode and checking the error logs:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home2/waeo3i0acx72/public_html/wp-content/plugins/toolset-blocks/embedded/inc/wpv.class.php on line 2230

PHP Warning: Module 'SourceGuardian' already loaded in Unknown on line 0

Any ideas? Thansk.

I do not have any idea on this as no other user reported such issue. If the View block you added to your page will not be displayed on frontend, our forum will be full with thousands of tickets and fortunately that is not the case yet 🙂

The only way to troubleshoot the issue is I will require duplicator copy of your install.

Can you please follow the instructions given with the following link and send me duplicator package link that will allow me to download that package:
=> https://toolset.com/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Hi Minesh,

I've used duplicator to create an archive of the website, and you can access it here:

Thanks again for your help!

Thank you for sharing the duplicator package.

I checked with the duplicator package by installing that on my local test install and once I installed the package and navigate to the home page, I can see the view display with 3 items per page. Please check the following screenshot:
=> hidden link

I did not change anything, I just installed the package you shared and loaded the home page, I can see the results on the frontend.

Well, I guess it does seem to be a problem with the hosting. That said, we're using the standard WordPress hosting with HostGator, so I'd think this would be a pretty common problem. The fact that there are no error messages to help us debug makes it very difficult to ask anything from HostGator. Any ideas as to what I should ask HostGator regarding their hosting?
