I am trying to create and customize a view for "my account" page of logged-in users. So that, they can customize posts that belong to them from their account page.

I follow this page to do this however it doesn't really work for some reason.

https://toolset.com/course-lesson/allow-users-to-manage-their-items/

The problem is the view page. When I create a new view to show on the other page, I am redirected to a view page that doesn't have Gutenberg editor to customize.

Thank you very much for your support in advance.

Hi there

Your screenshot shows you using the legacy editor to create the View.

I'm not sure why you would be doing that as a new user.

I suggest you go to Toolset > Views and delete Views that were not created with the block editor.

Then go to Toolset > Settings and review the Editing experience settings to make sure you are using only the block editor, not the legacy editor.

Then go back to your account page and insert a View block and create a new View in situ on that page.

I have just followed your recommendation and changed the setting.

And now, there is no "view" section on the left bar in Toolset. Moreover, it says "Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page." after clicking edit in Classic Editor that shows on the screen shot.

Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

It is expected that the option to add/edit classic editor views is no longer available.

Have you tried to create a new view, by inserting the 'View' block in the page editor (Gutenberg), directly?

Here is a documentation on creating a blocks-based view:
https://toolset.com/lesson-placement/lesson-placements-1621261-1622283/

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need further assistance.

regards,
