Hi.

I am using WPML plugin with Toolset access, and currently I see the option to create WPML group permissions to post types so it can be used to limit a role to specific post type in a specific language, I do this as I don't want editors for a language editing or creating posts in a different language.

But I can't seem to figure out how to do this for taxonomies? right now I only see the option to set role permissions per taxonomy type but not per language.

Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for waiting.

I've performed some tests on my website and I'm afraid, there is no straightforward way to achieve what you're planning for the taxonomies.

One possible workaround can be to use multiple custom post types and their respective taxonomies, for each language. This way, you'll be able to segregate access to the post types and taxonomies, independantly, with respect to language and user roles.

On the front-end, you can use post views to show a combined list of posts from theses multiple post types, as needed.
