On this site, I don't see an option to validate the URL. See this video: hidden link

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

While I can see the issue of the missing URL validation on your website, I couldn't reproduce this on a test website.

This suggests that something specific to your website is involved. Have you tried deleting this existing URL custom field and adding it again?

In case the issue still persists, I'll need your permission to download a clone/snapshot of your website, to investigate this on a different server.

I hope this helps and let me know how it goes.

regards,
Waqar

Hi Waqar,

I have multiple URL fields with the same issue on this site. Sure, you can download a clone to test.

Thank you for waiting and for the permission.

During further investigation, I was able to reproduce the issue and it appears only with PHP version 8+.

I've shared these findings with the concerned team and will keep you updated through this ticket.

For now, you can downgrade the PHP version to 7+ and the URL validation option will become available.

Ok thanks.

Hi,

I'd like to inform you that fix for this issue was covered in the recent release of the Types plugin ( ver: 3.4.20 ).

Feel free to update the Toolset plugins to the latest versions and let me know if the issue persists.

regards,
Waqar
