Tell us what you are trying to do?

I have a custom field of type 'select' it has 2 options:
basic:1
premium:2

I can create a Toolset conditional BLOCK - and set the condition based on this field OK.

But if I try to add this as a condition on the the whole content template (so I can show a different content template for basic or premium)...

1. This select field is just not visible as an option when setting the condition (most other custom fields are)
2. Even if I try advanced condition and enter the field manually - it doesn't work.

NB: I can easily print out the detials of the select field on the page and again - it works fine on the conditional block.

Are we unable to use select fields when setting conditions on content templates themselves - or should this be working OK?

Thanks

Karl

Hi Karl,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

Based on your report, I was able to reproduce this on my test website too. A 'select' type custom field is not available to be used in the conditional assignment of a content template.

I've shared these findings with the concerned team and will keep you updated through this ticket.

For now, a workaround would be to use either a 'Radio' type or a 'checkboxes' type custom field for this.

Waqar
