I have a customer post type call providers. I'm trying to allow users to search providers based on tags applied to the provider. The search isn't working properly. When I search a tag name I know is added on a provider they don't show up in the search results.

I have the Relevanssi plugin installed and indexed properly but it still doesn't work. I read that Relevanssi might help in another Toolset thread.

Any help would be great.

Hello,

I assume we are talking about WordPress built-in search form.

If it is, please try these:
Dashboard-> Settings-> Relevanssi-> Indexing
In section "Post types", enable option of post type "providers"
In section "Taxonomies", enable option of Taxonomy "post_tag"
Save the options, rebuild the index, and test again.
