I'm having the same problem.

As recommended by Luo Yang, I checked and made sure I have the latest Toolset plugins. I also switched to theme 2019.

I have no other plugins installed except all Toolset related plugins... but... mine is installed locally (localhost)

Hello,

I have tried it in my localhost with a fresh WP installation + the latest version of Toolset plugins, it works fine, I can setup the user role in the user forms without any problem.

Please check these:
1) Check if there is any PHP/JS error in your website:
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/

2) Make sure your webserver satisfied the require ment:
https://toolset.com/toolset-requirements/

3) Provide your website debug information in below private message box, mak

4) You can also provide a test website with the same problem, so we can check it in a live website

could this be the problem... XAMPP is using MariaDB instead of MySQL?

#2001375

I don't think it is the problem, MariaDB should be compatible in this case, please get the PHP debug logs as I mentioned above:
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/

You can also provide a test website with the same problem, put the test website's credentials in below private message box, so we can check it in a live website

I have no problem with live site... only with local installation 🙁 if that would make any difference.
keep in mind, i'm not a non-programmer. that's one of the reason why i purchased toolset because of the "no-coding" advertisement

Since the problem only exists in your localhost, so it should be a server issue.

As I mentioned above, please get the PHP debug logs from your localhost by following our document:
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/#php-debugging
section "PHP Debugging"

To enable PHP debugging in WordPress, edit your wp-config.php file and add the following:
...

You can also provide a copy of your website of localhost:
https://toolset.com/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/

you can put the package files in your own google drive disk, share the link only, also point out the problem page URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks
