Repeating fields in a child postype

Hello,

I'm using parent / child relationship and inside my child, there is a a repeating field.
Now, when I open the parent, I have a warning that repeating fields should not be used in a child.
Can you explain please

Dear Pat,

Yes, you are right, Types does not support display "repeating field" in the field table section, you will need to setup the value of "repeating field" in the child post.
And you can specific which fields can be display in the field table section:

in section "Children Post Types:", click "Select fields" after the child post type "child-cpt"
