I have a Select field in a custom post type relationship where the Display Text is a song Key and the Custom Field Content is a phonetic spelling that I can use as a class in Views. For example, if the Key/Display text is "D", then the custom field content is "dee" The problem I have is that once I choose the intermediary field (Song Key), it then shows the Custom Field Content instead of the Display Text. Functionally it works, but it looks silly.
The struggle is that I'm building a multisite network for a lot of people and I don't want a user experience for clients that just doesn't make a ton of sense (which this doesn't, in my opinion). Is there a way to have it show the Display Text instead of the Custom Field Content here?
