Hello Toolset-Team,
I use current Kadence theme and blocks to create my site. It is not necessarily an issue!
I would like to create content templates for products and posts for specific categories. Create templates goes, but unfortunately not that I can display the template A only on the category A.
Is it possible somehow?
Unfortunately I can't change the template for the blog, because the blog settings are still taken from the Kadence Theme.
How is this possible?
I have looked at all the tutorials the last few days, but just can't get any further.
When I create a view (for example a product loop), how is it possible to set images accordingly. Unfortunately the product images are not consistent in size. I have also tried this here several times, but come to no end.
I hope you can help with my beginner questions.
best regards
Patrick
Hi Patrick,
Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.
To customize the archive page for a specific category/taxonomy term, you can create a WordPress Archive from Toolset.
We have a guide on creating custom Archives at:
https://toolset.com/course-chapter/designing-the-archive-for-directory-items/
I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.
regards,
Waqar
Hey Waqar,
thank you for your mentioned link.
But this was the way as I tried.
At least I've got the Kadence Theme settings also my archiv settings.
best regards
Patrick
Thanks for writing back.
To better understand how you've already created your custom archive page and what changes you'd like to make, I'll need access to the website's admin area.
Can you please share temporary admin login details, along with the link to the target category archive page?
Note: Your next reply will be private and please make a complete backup copy, before sharing the access details.
