Hello all,
I have created a product archive with Toolset and used corresponding blocks for this. But some errors occur.
hidden link
First of all, I can't get it to work that when I use the filter, that accordingly this shadow glow is not to be seen. Of course my "products" have a drop shadow. I would not like to do without it. What am I doing wrong here?
I also use a "Sale Badge" block from Toolset, in other words I use Field and Text Block. But when I use the filter, the Sale Badge disappears, which of course I don't want.
How is it possible (if it is possible at all) that I put the "Shop Filter" on a sidebar or in the modal block of Kadence? I would like to equalize the page especially in the mobile version. Are there any good tutorials for this? Unfortunately I have not found an answer to my questions.
I don't know if it's through toolset or through Kadence theme, however I find the lightbox just creepy. Unfortunately you can't see a close button.
The same goes for the search archives: is it possible to overwrite them with Toolset?
I'm sorry that I ask many question in one ticket. But it was not possible for me to include several tickets related to topics. For whatever reason.
I am looking forward to this to find a solution to the above problems.
Best regards
Patrick
Hi Patrick,
Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.
I've tested the search filters on the shop page, but couldn't see the issue with drop shadow styles or the "Sale" badge. They both continued to show, even when I used the search filter.
Can you please share the exact steps or screenshot/screencast to see the issue?
The search form from a WordPress Archive can't be shown separately, but if your goal is to show a search form on a different page, you can create a post view instead:

I'm not sure exactly what you meant by equalizing the page on mobiles, but currently, the search results and the search form do show stacked on top of each other, on smaller screens.
The lightbox effect used on the single product page seems to be controlled by the Kadence Gallery plugin. To change or disable it, you can consult that plugin's official support or documentation.

Hey Waqar,
thanks for your feedback.
So we are talking about 3 parts here
1. filter / toolset function
Unfortunately I always get a drop shadow on the right when I select a filter on the left. Is it possible to use my created filters in the Kadence modal block or in a sidebar widget? Unfortunately I have not found an answer to this.
I would also like to have the filters in a row (inline), so that the customer does not necessarily have to scroll so long. Or is it also possible, when a customer selects a filter, that correspondingly more filters appear?
I have added a picture of the error from the store archive.
2. search archive /category archives
Can I overwrite this with Toolset? Because I don't really like the layout. Also the layout of the category archives when I click on a category link in the product. I just don't know, is this a theme issue and can I affect this with toolset.
3. lightbox
Thank you! I will actually test that out one day! If it is the case of the plugin, then I will contact the support or just look for an alternative.
Many greetings
Patrick
Thanks for writing back.
1. filter / toolset function
I've tested the shop page on a couple of different devices and browsers, but couldn't notice any difference in the drop shadow, before and after the search filters are used.
In order to investigate this report, we'll need some screenshots or a short video showing the issue.
As for moving the search filters from the WordPress Archives into Kadence modal block or in a sidebar widget, I'm afraid, that is not supported.
These search filters can be designed in a way that they take less height so that the visitors have to scroll less. To suggest the best way to achieve this, I'll need to see how this archive for the shop page is set up in the admin area.
Can you please share temporary admin login details, in reply to this message?
Note: Your next reply will be private and please make a complete backup copy, before sharing the access details.
2. search archive /category archives
Yes, this is possible and a WordPress default search results page is also a type of archive page. Just as you created an archive for the shop page, you can create one for the search results and category archives from WP Admin -> Toolset -> WordPress Archives:
