Hi,

I was looking forward to try the new Toolset Blocks plugin to make views, but was a little disapponted that the slider feature was missing from the posts view settings. In this link: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/views/creating-sliders-with-types-and-views/ we can read the feature will be there in a "few weeks", but when is that? Is there a more precise release date?

Regards Mats

Hello,

There is misunderstand:
The Toolset Blocks plugin supports sliders(AJAX pagination), but the document does not update yet, it is still using the lagacy GUI.

For example, you can install Toolset Blocks plugin, and try these:
1) Create a page, insert a view block
https://toolset.com/2019/06/visually-create-and-design-views-using-block-editor/

2) Select above view pagination block, you will be able to see the AJAX pagination settings in right column, see screenshot AJAX-pagination.JPG

Ok, thanks Luo,
I get it. I just made a slider with a grid of four columns. The problem is that it slides all four posts when clicking on the "prev-next" links. I only want one post at a time. Can you please explain how to do this?

#1534811

Yes, it is possible, see the screenshot I provided above:
https://toolset.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/1531397-pagination.jpg
You can set the option "Item per page" as: 1

Ok, thanks,
But that solution only shows one lonely item in a four columns grid. I put four columns in the grid settings for the view loop. Or is that the wrong place?

#1534997

If you "want one post at a time", then you do not four columns grid, just one column.

Ok, excuse me for being unclear. I want a four column grid but I want the carousel to slide one post at a time.

Are we talking about such kind of sliders as below demo:
hidden link

If it is, there isn't such a built-in feature within Toolset Blocks(Views) plugin, Views AJAX slider will refresh the result when click the next/previous pagination link, for example, when you click next page link, Views will display other different 4 items in the next slider.

You might consider custom codes, but according to our support policy, we don't provide custom codes support, you can check it with our Toolset contractors:

Thanks Luo,
Ok, I suspected that was the matter. Can you please just give me a hint if it's possible to achieve that with Blocks or Views and the bootstrap link you attached. I want to keep the content template of the post in the view, if possible, as there are things like custom fields I may want to keep. And of course use Toolset as much as I can and avoid other plugins to keep the code and site clean.

The demo I mentioned above is a sliders created with "MDB Pro component", you should be able to see the button "MDB Pro component" above demo, since I don't have a copy of "MDB Pro component" in my localhost, I am not sure if it is possible to achieve that with Blocks or Views and the "MDB Pro component".

Since you are asking for some not-built-in features, and it needs custom codes, but we don't provide custom codes support:

As I mentioned above, you can check it with our Toolset contractors:
