Hi,
Is it possible to add a Custom Post Type using the custom Post Reference field? I am building a classifieds service and would like the user to be able to add Vendors and models. I used the Post Reference field for this because it has the ability to search but I need the ability to add items to custom post types (vendors and models)
Best Regards
Michal

Hi Michal,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

It won't be possible to add new "vendors" and "models" posts in the same form, where they are available for selection in the post reference field.

You can create two new 'add new post' forms, one for the "vendors" and the other for the "models" and place them either on the same page or a new page.

Next, on the page with the main form, you can add a note for your users that if you don't see the required "vendors" or "models", you can add them using their respective forms.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.

regards,
Waqar
