Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am displaying an archive and using a "post title with link". The link doesn't give me a space to choose or use a template when loading. This of course loads it without the template.

for example, when I am reviewing a template the link is displayed hidden link
When I am linking to the same post it displays hidden link
What do I need to edit or turn on to use the templates?

Hello, you can either apply a specific Content Template to each post individually in the Post Editor screen in wp-admin, or you can edit a Content Template and apply it to all posts in a post type, by default. If you want to override the Content Template applied to an individual post dynamically, you can apply the desired Content Template ID using a URL parameter as shown in the preview link you provided above, but usually that's not required. Usually you will select a Content Template in the post editor screen for each post, or edit a Content Template and set it to be applied to all posts in a specific post type automatically. Once you've assigned a Content Template to a specific post type, all new posts created in that post type will automatically have that Content Template applied.

Screenshots attached here showing either approach. Let me know if you have questions about this.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you! It was in the template settings. I had to re-apply it to all posts.
