Tell us what you are trying to do? Create an archive template

Is there any documentation that you are following? I watched your videos "Creating a Custom Archive Page" and "Create and Design Custom WordPress Archives".

What is the link to your site? hidden link

Every time I click on the "Create Archive" button it just opens a little window with a link to "Learn about creating archives with Toolset".

Hello,

I have tried it in my localhost with a fresh WP installation + the latest version of Toolset plugins, it works fine, after click button "Create Archive", I see dialog window of screenshhot create-archive.JPG.

So the problem you mentioned above is abnormal, please check these:
1) Make sure you are using the latest version of Toolset plugins, you can download them here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2020, and test again

3) Also check if there is any PHP/JS error in your website:

Hello Luo

I ran the debug tests and found no errors. I turned off all plugins, switched to the default theme, and still not able to create an archive template. I get the same message popup.

Regards

As an added measure, just to eliminate any server possible issues, I moved the entire site to an AWS server here hidden link

All plugins are disabled except toolset. Default WP theme. No errors via debug that I could see. Still can't make an archive. Not even for the default wp post.

So I figured this out for myself. Just for future reference, it seems one must have Toolset blocks installed first. I guess I'm not sure why that wasn't in the first reply for me as to what to try. And probably be in the documentation clearly noted somewhere as well.

Thanks for the input, the Toolset WordPress Archive is a built-in feature of Toolset Blocks plugin.

I thought you should have already installed it in your website.

In summary, in our download pages:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
There are two basement plugins:
- Toolset Types plugin: Defines custom post types, taxonomy and fields.
- Toolset Blocks: Visual design for dynamic websites(Including Toolset WordPress Archive, content templates and other things displaying in front-end)
