No 100% width template after converting from page to custom post type

I am using Avada theme. Bootstrap CSS setting is switched to "off" in Toolset Settings.

What happened:

1. I created a new CPT called "product"
2. I switched 5 posts from post type "page" to post type "product" in the database (according to best practice)
3. When I open the newly switched posts in the back end, I am missing options, most notably the page templates. I'm also missing lots of options from the Fusion Page Options, and the Theme Options, in Avada.

I also tried making a copy of page.php via FTP, renaming it to single-product.php, and that did not help anything.

Any other ideas of how we can fix that?

Dear Damian,

The step 2 you mentioned above:
switched 5 posts from post type "page" to post type "product" in the database
I don't think it is the "best practice", since you are changing the post data in the database directly, and it will conduct some unexpected result, in your case, there are some Avada options value lost, I suggest you try these:
1) Manually setup the custom post again, check if the theme file single-product.php works
2) Ask help from the developers of Avada theme, check if it is possible to:
switched 5 posts from post type "page" to post type "product" in the database
