[Closed] Need help with "author" field management on custom posts

Tell us what you are trying to do?

I am trying to display "artwork" from an "artist" on the "artist" template. "artwork" and "artist" are custom post types. I have it setup now so on the artist template, I can show all of the "artwork" which has been uploaded by the "author" of the current post.

So - I have a "list of artists", when you click on each it shows the "artist" template which has "artworks" by the same "author" as the current post. I am using a content filter for this.

Problems:
1) I can't find a way to edit the "author" of a custom post.
2) If I hold the posts in moderation, when I publish them, I become the author.

To better understand how you're currently collecting the artworks from different artists and then performing moderation, I'll need to see how things are set up in the admin area.

Can you please share temporary admin login details, along with the link to a page with the form for new "artwork"?

I'll be in a better position to guide you accordingly.
