[Resolved] migrate radio to checkboxes

My client's initial specs established a custom field as radio buttons, which is how I implemented it. They've entered a ton of content in that content type, but now want to switch that field to checkboxes to be able to select multiple options. Is there a way to preserve the individual radio selections for past posts, but allow for content editors to now select multiple?

Dear Allison,

There isn't existed feature within Types plugin, Types custom checkboxes field stores value in a serialized array, but the custom radio field stores value as a string, they can not be converted directly.

So it needs custom codes, I suggest you check it with our Toolset Contractors:
