Lightbox won't work

I am trying to: Display multple images in a lightbox

I expected to see: a picture in a lightbox when clicked

Instead, I got: A spinner

have tried fancybox, thickbox and simple lightbox, but cannot get it to work.

I assume we are talking about a custom multiple-instances image field, created with Types plugin.
