[Resolved] Issues with 'Use my location'

Hi guys,

I recently moved my site from HTTP to HTTPS and everything seems to be working great. However, when I try to use the 'Use my location' button in a view I am not getting it to work. When typing in any address it works as expected.

I've checked the browser consoles to look for errors. Chrome doesn't show any but I noticed these in Edge:
Tracking Prevention blocked access to storage for hidden link.
2(index):1 Tracking Prevention blocked access to storage for hidden link.
DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for hidden link: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE

The issue can be seen on the home page.

Are there any additional settings that I've missed? Or any idea what else could be causing this?

My site is experiencing some 503 and 524 time-outs due to heavy background processes and I believe it might be caused by me testing the 'Use my location' button (I attached a snapshot from my Cpanel).

Hello,

The JS error message you mentioned above is from another plugin "elementor", you can disable all "elementor" plugins and test again, if the problem is fixed, you will need to contact "elementor" support for it.

For the problem: 503 and 524 time-outs due to heavy background processes

I've fixed the time-outs issue and the site is stable again. The site is also correctly loaded over https. However, I'm still not getting the 'Use my location' button to work though.

I initially had this line of JS:

jQuery(document).ready(function(){
  // change distance filter placeholder
   jQuery('#toolset-maps-distance-center').attr('placeholder','Postcode of plaats');
});  

When I commented out that line of code the button worked briefly in chrome, but it doesn't anymore (chrome and edge). I'm not getting any console messages in chrome but in edge I'm still getting this message:
Tracking Prevention blocked access to storage for hidden link.

Any idea what could be causing this?

FYI: I deactivated Elementor and code snippets but both didn't fix the issue...

I can see the problem in your website, and it is abnormal, please check these:
1) Make sure you are using the latest version of Toolset plugins, you can download them here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2020, deactivate all custom PHP/JS code snippets, and test again

3) If the problem still persists, please provide database dump file(ZIP file) of your website, also point out the problem page URL and view URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks

Hi Luo,

I just updated all Toolset plugins. Again, it worked initially and stopped working shortly after. Then deactivated all plugins (except Toolset plugins) and this did not have any effect.

I am trying to use Duplicator to create a package as described the article but I keep getting this error: Host Build interruption. I've tried excluding wp-uploads and even wp-content but still getting the same result.

Are you maybe able to debug on the live set?

The FTP access is not valid, please check it, I get these error message:

Status:	Resolving address of <em><u>hidden link</u></em>
Status:	Connecting to 172.67.187.114:21...
Error:	Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error:	Could not connect to server

And I have tried these in your website:
Dashboard-> Instellingen-> Algemeen
Change the site URL and blog URL with SSL URL address:
hidden link

Then your website is broken, and I get these error message:
hidden link redirected you too many times.

Please check the FTP access, make sure it is valid, so I can restore it back, private message box enabled again.

Thanks for the details, the FTP access is valid.

Since the button "use my location" requires SSL, and your website is using other plugins to setup the SSL, so I have tried it again using below steps:
1) Deactivate all other plugins
2) Dashboard-> Instellingen-> Algemeen
Change the site URL and blog URL with SSL URL address:
hidden link

The error persists:
redirected you too many times

So I have restored your website, and trying to download the database dump file, and debug the problem in my localhost, will update here if find anything. Since it is weekend, you might get a late answer.
