When adding background video to a section and if I have the VIEWS plugin enabled the background video will not show on frontend. I see this was an issue as far back as 2015, see this link:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/compatibilty-issue-with-x-theme-background-video/
This is a issue as I have many sites with the Themeco theme and also using views.
Is there a fix planned or a better workaround than adding additional CSS?
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.
I don't have an example link from your website, but this seems to be related to what is reported in this thread:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/pro-by-themeco-toolset-blocks-issue
Can you please test to see if the code from Nigel fixes this?

We're constantly working to improve the loading of our CSS and JS resources, so that they're used when absolutely required. However in this particular case, theme's video background feature seems to have conflict with the WordPress built-in library, which not only Toolset, but any third-party plugin can load.

Note: This comment from the theme author confirms this too: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/compatibilty-issue-with-x-theme-background-video/page/2/#post-326385
For this reason, it would also be a good idea to raise this matter with the theme author, for a more long term fix.

Waqar
My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
