Hi. I purchased the ImportWP Pro plugin before I saw the list of recommended plugins for for importing CSV data into Toolset. When I begin the importer steps, the plugin lets me specify "Custom Post Type" and lets me choose the name of the post type I created with Toolset. I get a preview of the data and it all looks good. But after I complete the import, all of my fields are blank. I did some experimenting and found that I am able to map CSV data into the default WP Title and Content fields, but it's not letting me inject the data into my custom fields. I have sent a note to the ImportWP developer, but have not received a response. Do you have any ideas?
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.
As the "ImportWP Pro" is a third-party plugin, for the most accurate and up-to-date information about its features, its official support, and documentation should be consulted.
For example, I found its official guide on the topic of custom fields import at:

One important point about importing Toolset Types custom fields is that the "wpcf-" prefix needs to be prepended before the field slugs. For example, if the field slug used in the Type's settings is 'house-price', then the field slug while importing should be 'wpcf-house-price'.
I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.

Waqar
Thanks, Waqar. Discovering that the custom field names needed to be prepended with wpcf- helped to solve my problem, along with the following instructions from the ImportWP PRO developer's site and rereading this instruction
"The name field allows you to select from a predefined list of custom fields, if you cant find the custom field you are looking for but you know what its key is, then this can be manually entered by checking the enable text field to switch the dropdown menu to an input field."
I will reply the developer to see if they can make this a little more clear. The setup interface indicates that the user will be creating a new field/row instead of posting to an existing custom field.
