I am using TheGem theme - hidden link

I've been using toolset with this theme for more than 2 years now and everything were running fine until the last update.

The theme comes with the custom footer options (like you can have a different footer for each page) - This feature is not working anymore. Deactivated all plugin & found that the issues is coming with Toolset. I've tried changing the bootsrap css settings but in vain...

Please let me know if you have a fix for it.

Ervin

Dear Ervin,

This is a compatibility issue, please try these:
1) Make sure you are using the latest version of Toolset plugins, you can download them here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

2) In case there are other compatibility problems, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to original TheGem theme, deactivate all custom PHP/JS code snippets, and test again

3) Also check if there is any PHP/JS error in your website:
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/

4) If the problem still persists, please a copy of your website, you can put the package files in your own google drive disk, share the link only, also point out the problem page URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks

I can install your duplicator package in my localhost, but I get a lots of PHP errors in URL:
hidden link, for example:

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in D:\newwamp64\www\taxi\wp-content\plugins\checkfront-wp-booking\checkfront.php on line 71
...
Warning: include(D:\newwamp64\www\taxi/wp-content/themes/thegem/inc/shortcodes/vc_shortcodes/vc_row.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\newwamp64\www\taxi\wp-content\plugins\thegem-elements\inc\shortcodes\vc_shortcodes\init.php on line 370

See screenshot taxi.JPG
Those PHP errors are from another two plugins: checkfront-wp-booking and thegem-elements
And I have tried to deactivate the Toolset plugins, but I get the same page footers, see screenshot taxi-footer.JPG

Please check these:
1) As I mentioned above, check the PHP debug logs in your website as I mentioned above:
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/#php-debugging
Make sure there isn't PHP errors in your website

If there are same PHP errors in your website, you will need to check them with those two plugin authors.

2) And I have tried to deactivate the all Toolset plugins, but I get the same page footers, see screenshot taxi-footer.JPG
So the duplicator package you provided above is not valid for debug, it does not duplicate the same issues as you mentioned above.

If you need more assistance for it, please provide a test site with the same problem, fill below private message box with login details and FTP access, I need to test and debug it in a live website. thanks

Thanks for the details, I have done below modifications in your website, edit the "Footer":
hidden link

In section "Content Template", switch the option from "Template for Footers" to "None", the "Template for Footers" content template is an empty item, you can see it here:
hidden link

Please test again, check if it is fixed, thanks

My issue is resolved now. Thank you! It was indeed an issue with the Content template for the footer which was preventing my theme's footer from appearing.
