I am trying to: Filter option values with commas

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: When selecting "LEWES, DE" and clicking submit, it should show the listing with "LEWES, DE" location;

Instead, I got: No results

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

Looks like you've removed the commas from the options for now and the filtering by location is working correctly.

It is generally better performance-wise to store the numbers as the custom field options values and store text in the title/label field.
( example screenshot attached )

You can adjust the location field options like this and then test them in the search filter.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need further assistance.

regards,
Waqar

Hi,

Unfortunately the field its not a select or checkbox field, its just a plan text field, and its defined by the user. The filter its setup by showing existing values from the posts.

Thanks for writing back.

I've performed some tests on my website, with values with commas in the single line type custom field, but couldn't reproduce any issue. The checkboxes type search field in the view worked, as expected.
