custom fields error.JPG

After a failed import I'm copying over custom post types and taximonies to a new site. I'm getting the error "Warning: field slug already used" on any new custom field I'm adding to a group. I'm guessing due to the failed import they're in the database somewhere.

How can I clear this so I can create my custom fields.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

Please go to WP Admin -> Toolset -> Custom Fields and click the "Post Field Control" button. There you'll see the custom fields which exist but are not part of any custom field group.
( ref: https://toolset.com/course-lesson/convert-existing-custom-types-and-fields-to-types-control/#converting-custom-fields )

You can delete those unused fields or assign them to a custom field group as needed.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.

regards,
Waqar
