I have created a custom field "Additional attachments". I assigned it to a custom post type "Cases".
The field doesn't show in my content template for Cases. I already tried clearing browser cache and cookies and open in incognito window but that didn't help.
All other fields work fine.
Recently I changed the name of the field and then deleted it and created the field again with another name.
Before yesterday there were already 2 files uploaded with in the old field I deleted. Maybe that causes the problem?
Any idea how to resolve this?

This is really strange. The field should be displayed. Can you please tell me with what content template you are trying to display the field and send me admin access details.

I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
I set the display to "This field can have only one value", saved, and now the field displays in the content template.
However, I want to have the possibility to upload one or multiple files, so I need to select "Allow multiple instances of this field".
So I set it back to "Allow multiple instances of this field", saved, and now the field displays repeatable in the content template.
